Data we collect

• Contact details: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country of residence, store URL.
• Identity and compliance documents: passport or ID, proof of address, and tax information.
• Identity verification data: an image of your identity document, a photograph or short video of your face, and the result of the check. Comparing your face with your document involves biometric data, which is processed only with your explicit consent and only to confirm your identity.
• Company documents: formation, ownership and accounting records for companies we set up or manage for you.
• Service data: messages, call notes, invoices and the status of your filings and renewals.

Why we use it

• To provide the services you ask for: company formation, bank and payment-provider applications, administration and accounting.
• To meet legal duties, including identity verification and sanctions screening.
• To bill you and to communicate with you about your file.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who receives it

We share only what is needed with: the banks and payment providers you apply to; the independent accountants, registered agents and company-formation agents involved in your file; our identity verification provider (Sumsub), which carries out document and identity checks on our behalf; hosting, email and payment providers acting on our instructions; and authorities where the law requires it. These recipients may be located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

For as long as you are a client, then for the period the law requires for compliance and accounting records, generally five to seven years. Documents from applicants who do not become clients are deleted within 12 months. Identity verification images and biometric data are kept only as long as needed to complete the check and to meet our legal record-keeping duties.

Security

Documents are transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to the people handling your file.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to its use, and you may complain to your local data protection authority. Write to info@atikoapp.co. Some data must be kept to meet legal obligations even after a deletion request.
